The SDX7 High Performance Wonder
The SDX7 Woofer is a premium audiophile quality woofer with a performance that overtakes other drivers of a similar size. The detail, warmth and musical nature of this driver makes it "must buy" for the best musical delivery at lower frequencies.
The key to the performance of this driver is the use of patented XBL2™ technology in the form a custom built voice-coil and advanced magnet system deployed under licence.

Main Performance Features
- Rising HF Response
Much work has been put into the design and profiling of SDX7 cone. The low mass has been achieved by working through a series of materials test to confirm the optimum composition and weave density to deliver a smooth detailed bass.
- Efficient Bass Delivery
Mechanical performance has been thoroughly researched and implemented. The 11mm excursion is one of the largest in this class of driver. Along with XBL2™ motor, the suspension systems have been re-engineered to delivery maximum linear oscillation without adding to distortional effects.
- The XBL2™ 1.5 inch Motor Technology
By using this patented technology, the efficiency of the driver has been increased while reducing distortion. The result is a musical and detailed delivery from the low to lower-middle frequency range that many other drivers cannot match.
- Central Stereo Image
The advantage of the SDX7 is its large cone area. The shape of the cone and cap create a wide detailed central stereo image (depending on source and amplification). The levels of distortion are well controlled since the cone area is large.
- Construction
The heavy-duty cast aluminium basket uses a purer grade of material, better than many other drivers in this class. The design includes larger rear air vents for improved bass performance. Thin pillars between the front and rear plates also aid in the free flow of air from the rear of the cone.
